Nick Shuley is a seasoned marketing and media executive with over 20 years of experience working with some of the world’s most iconic brands, athletes, musicians, and events. He currently serves as President of the Austin Music Movement, Program Director of ALL ATX and ALL ATX Leadership, and Board Chair of Music Makes Austin—key organizations at the forefront of preserving, protecting, and growing Austin’s identity as the Live Music Capital of the World. These efforts are part of a long-standing partnership with Keller Williams founder Gary Keller, focused on ensuring a sustainable future for the city's music ecosystem.
Nick recently joined the team behind the newly relaunched, purpose-driven brand Armadillo World Headquarters, helping to connect the community around this iconic symbol of Austin culture. Today, that remains the driving force behind the Armadillo: to promote unity while encouraging individuality, to foster harmony while cultivating originality, and—above all—to prove that being different doesn’t have to mean being divided.
Beyond music, Nick is a leader in the evolution of collegiate athletics. He founded the Clark Field Collective, the primary Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) entity supporting University of Texas athletes, and co-founded the Texas One Fund, UT’s official NIL nonprofit. He also serves as personal marketing advisor to Bo Jackson and leads business and marketing strategy for Hagens Berman Jayco, the world’s top U23 cycling development team.
In the media space, Nick is the creator of “3rd and Longhorn,” a high-quality weekly football show featuring Texas legends Rod Babers, Jeremy Hills, Derrick Johnson, Alex Okafor, and Fozzy Whittaker. He also launched “brUTherhood,” the flagship basketball show for the University of Texas, hosted by Longhorn greats D.J. Augustin and Royal Ivey. In addition, Nick hosts a weekly segment on 102.7 ESPN Radio in Austin, where he highlights the best of the city across music, sports, food, art, and culture—offering listeners a curated guide to what’s happening in Austin each week. Previously, he helped Lance Armstrong launch “The Forward” and “STAGES” podcasts.
Earlier in his career, Nick was Director of Marketing at Capital Sports & Entertainment, where he led campaigns for RadioShack Pro Cycling, Axeon Cycling, Mellow Johnny’s, and Lance Armstrong. Prior to that, he was part of the original team at C3 Presents, managing interactive marketing for Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits Music Festival, and Austin City Limits TV, while also managing artists associated with Justin Timberlake, Outkast, and Cash Money Records.
With a rare blend of creative vision, strategic execution, and deep roots in both the music and sports worlds, Nick Shuley continues to drive impact at the intersection of culture, business, and community.
